I've noticed that my window sticker is showing a $100 increase in the "Destination & Delivery" charge over what was stated in my order documentation. Has anyone else seen this increase? Truck is in production still, and I'm in the North East.

I've noticed that my window sticker is showing a $100 increase in the "Destination & Delivery" charge over what was stated in my order documentation. Has anyone else seen this increase?

D&D charge is same for all Lightnings in US, AFAIK. Mine went from $1695 to $1795. When the dealer got the truck, I got an email from Ford to set up an online shopping cart to complete the purchase. The cart came up exactly as ordered and priced. I went through all the steps online and it ended 'Send to Dealer', then printed it. It included taxes and the dealer paperwork fee. Kind of impressive.

When we got down to the final numbers with the F&I guy, I pointed out their numbers were different from the ones in the online cart. They also had no record of the $100 reservation fee that I had printed showing their receipt of the funds from my credit card. "Where did you get this?" A: from the email generated by Ford when you accepted delivery of the truck. They weren't real happy, not rude, still a 5 star dealer compared to my last experience. It's pretty clear these folks are feeling the heat of supply constraints and the new reality of online ordering. Anyway, they honored the original price from the Wave 4 order in February and I couldn't have been happier.
