I'm considering the XLT but one thing I would really like to have is the heated and vented seats which don't look like they will be an option on even the Premium version of the XLT. I am generally not the type of person that purchases the "higher end" versions of things but it's looking like I might on this one.

Was contemplating going EV a couple years ago with Tesla but I was not a fan of the company or the fact that I lived far from any major cities so maintenance would have been a nightmare. When I saw Ford was coming out with an F-150, I just had to try it out. lol

Nope, the 2012 is actually my wife's truck. She has no desire to get rid of her truck.

Yeah I get that. For all the good Tesla has done in developing EVs, they way they operate as a company makes it hard to like them lol.

I made my reservation on May 19th. I currently drive a 2003 Lightning that I purchased new. I look forward to a faster, more comfortable ride and the interesting possibilities of an electric vehicle. The forum looks like a great place to hang out and learn more about the new truck!

I wondered if there was a Lightning forum after joining and just picking up my Maverick First Edition Lariat Hybrid on Friday. The MTC members were so helpful during my somewhat bumpy experience, thanks to a shady dealership😕so I thought this might be another good forum while I wait for my order to come up.

I was late to the game so I’m probably looking at 2023 realistically. While I wait I’ve got this amazing little Maverick hybrid which I am loving! I ended up getting the opportunity to buy it when another customer got tired of waiting and backed out.

I had a 2019 Hyundai Kona EV which I sold last month. I loved that EV but it was too small for everything I end up hauling. I also had a Tesla but it was the Powerwall lol! I’m so excited about the Lightning EV! I’ll be letting go of my ‘02 F250 7.3 diesel unless I end up selling it before the Lightning arrives.

Looking forward to another Ford forum!
