My original order had the base XLT at $68,000
My new order if I decide to sign it has the base at $79,000
After all my addons Original contract was $85,995 before tax and freight. New contract is $100,115.

they went up $3k already - biggest issue with EVs right now is the battery costs, they have skyrocketed since the Ukraine war.

I got called last week that they were ready to take my order, for MY23. Went in all ready to order the Lariat ER, and was then shown the new prices - $10,000 increase in Lariat trims. About that for the XLT as well. Plus no mobile charger included, and no scales/smart hitch in the tow package. I just couldn't do another $10K on what's already an incredibly expensive vehicle.
I thought I might be able to configure the Lariat without the 511A options package, but they won't do that with the ER battery (even though the ford.ca website for 2022 pricing says they can). Of course, the website is all still 2022 pricing just to rub it in about the price increases (why would they even leave those prices up if nobody can get them anymore?)
So, for those waiting in line, a spot has opened up

Well it is official. I removed my order from the system today. It makes me very sad but I hope that I can get an other chance in the future if the prices come back down as competition goes up and material costs come back down.

unfortunately prices won’t be coming down anytime soon - anyone ordering in 24 can expect another $7k-$15k increase over the 23s…inflation is getting sticky.
I have a reservation on a Silverado EV and my dealer already warned me - WT will be close to $70s…their announced start price will not materialize.
over 2 weeks and truck still at dealer, MUM's the word it seems as I am not able to get them to process the sale to me thus far, I found a recall on the Lightning and wonder if this what is holding up delivery.

Well it finally came, picked it up last night. And it DOESNT have the lighting bolt with the US flag on it. Have other Canadian orders the same as this as well?

Other Canadians have confirmed that.....you should send it back, and insist they put it on.
Mine did not have that either.

I received my charger a week before the truck. Have you contacted the charger department?

Email them, they are the best department to deal with in the whole truck buying experience.

Hi everyone
I need some help, so I cannot for the life of me get my auto sensing headlights to come off and on. I have the selector to Automatic, I went on Youtube and watch a video on how to set up in the settings, yet my setting screen has a glare free option instead of the auto headlight option.
How do I get these things to work??? Can anyone help me??

Reserved in May 2021 . Dealer made us pay $1000 non refundable deposit in Feb 2022, but no order still….
Just logged in and the Ford account now says it was converted to an order 5 days ago (of course no emails or phone calls from anyone letting me know)
called the dealer and they said the msrp went up $10,000 to $110,000 because it’s a 2023 model now apparently even though my reservation and deposit contract was for a 2022…..
That’s a big chunk of change I was not expecting …..I’m disappointed with ford and the dealer and not sure if i am willing to place my order …
I probably lost the $1000 deposit if I don’t go ahead with it.

I just got my Lightning Lariat ER and it also did not have a portable charger. The dealer said that Ford has quietly made them into an optional accessory - although there was no mention of that in my purchase order. I complained and they've agreed to provide it 'for free'...LOL, after spending >CAD$100,000 on a truck that was spec'd with a charger it's not really free!
