1st, I am jealous. Mine can only hit 106.
I didn't look but I assume the tires are S-rated (112 mph), so tires are an issue. I assume the tires have pretty high load index to keep traction while bringing the the vehicle to fast stop? I'll also assume the brakes can take the heat and are designed to stop the truck. So I would say the weak link is the tires traction and heat handling capabilities under 8,000 lbs of load.
Safety be damned so I am sure someone will come up a way to bypass the governor. The question is if Ford will find out and counter it or invalidate the warranty.
