I don't know of any of the small fiberglass shell type of camper shells that go over the cab of the truck. For that you'd need a full-on RV-style in-bed camper that does indeed have a bed over the cab. You wouldn't have to sleep in it, but it would cost a lot more than just a "shell."
Are you looking for a way to keep the paddleboard secure inside the vehicle for storage when not transporting the board to the beach? There's just not space for that in the Lightning. Maybe an ICE F-150 with the 8-foot bed, loaded diagonally to fit. But the Lightning can't be configured with a long bed.
Thanks. Any idea what the weight will do to the range of the EV?You can get them. An insulation company here uses them.
Huge fiberglass toppers
That's still for the 6.5' bed, not the 5.5' that the Lightning has. But maybe somebody out there makes one the right size. You can get them. An insulation company here uses them.

A wild guess it's going to whack at least 20% off the range. Nobody really knows because the evs today don't really accept attachments like this. Maybe you could do a search for tesla roof rack range reduction for a similar comparison.Thanks. Any idea what the weight will do to the range of the EV?
Oh man. Would love to hear more info on thatThis was in the paperwork of my new Lariat ER. Does anyone know why Ford does this? Kind of a big deal...
