What does everyone think of the prices? $79,169 for Lariat seems a bit much. Especially since the dealer my order is with plans to mark the truck up 7k. 86K plus tax, license and registration is a lot of money.

Lariat plus vs the Rivian I also have on order: both 79k.

Im having a tough time deciding which one to get and this isn’t helping!

question for truck people: bed liner? Yes or no?
Always get a bedliner, either from the factory or aftermarket (e.g., Line-X). You may think now that you won't use the bed of your forthcoming truck to haul rock, bricks, tools, or something else that can scratch it up, but once you have it those weekend projects tend to magically appear. And you'll appreciate being able to just chuck stuff in there without having to carefully set it down to avoid scratching the bed.

Yes I have the Ford spray in liner on my truck and it's worth every penny.
Agreed. My quesiton is just whether to have Ford spray in the liner or to have a local company like a Line-X dealer do it right away and have the lifetime warranty and easy repair.

I can't see any difference between a Lariot and the Platinum. certainly nothing that justifies another 10k. And the major difference between the XLT and the Lariot appears to be no leather seat option for the XLT. Prices are about what I expected.

$74K for an XLT Extended Range!?

Won't let me select an XLT Extended without also selecting 312A group...that's a $19K increase just to have 70 more miles of range.....anyone going for that?
Yes, that was a shock. ER battery requires an upgrade package in either the XLT on the Lariat. I'm definitely going Lariat now as the difference is only $4K between the XLT and Lariat I'm looking at.

My requirements:
Extended Range Battery
Tow Technology Package
Max Tow package

Once I do that the XLT is $76 and the Lariat $4K. That's a no-brainer.

The other downside to the packaging for me is I didn't want the moon roof. It's mandatory with the Extended Range on the Lariat. I guess I get a moon roof.

I might just get the XLT standard range with hard bed liner and (maybe) the 9.6kw Pro Power. If I don't plan to tow, or use many of the real "work" features, am I missing anything important? This gets an MSRP in the mid 50s, which after federal and state credits, I am at $45k.

Yikes on the pricing. Hate the moon roof. Do not need Blue Cruise, heated back seats, even tow package I could do without. Maybe wait 5 years to let things settle?

I saw that. Might as well get the Lariat extended range for 5K more at that point

Looks like 312A was a price mistake and now corrected to $9.5k, which make more sense rather than 19k. 😀

Looking at these prices I think I'll wait for the market to correct and wait for Ford to dump incentives on them.

~$63k just to have an XLT with heated seats is a bit much.

Yeah, I'm trying to justify it, but its hard. My main thing was it may be a bit more expensive payment wise than my Camaro, but I'd make it up not paying gas and such. A XLT with Extended Range will almost double my car payment now. Idk if the savings are there yet. For me, anyways

As a long time EV driver I think 300 miles of range is the sweet spot. It is too bad that you have to do a major price increase for the extended range battery.
It’s not so much the $79k the for vehicle as it is my local dealer jacking the price up. They told me the owners wanted to prioritize people who live in town. Too bad they are bending locals over for 7k. 90k out the door is way too much for this truck in my opinion.

After driving my Bolt 80-100 miles a day for my work commute + any extras, I just dont know how efficient the standard range would be on my strictly highway drive in the winter. I'd be reusing my 32A ChargePoint at the house so it would take a while to give it a full charge from empty which makes it a bit tougher of a pill to swallow.

GM should be cutting a check for my Bolt soon (unless they weasel their way out of it) so was hoping to utilize that towards the truck but I'm not sure I can justify that price right now.
