I bought a Platinum off a dealer lot. Apparently the deal fell through for the original person that ordered the vehicle. Here is where my problems started...
The Ford system is showing someone else bought the truck a couple of weeks before I bought the truck. Now I haven't been able to get the charger and the warranty date/information is not correct. I have been chasing this for weeks with the Dealer, Ford, and Sunrun. Ford blames the dealer (Linsay Ford in MD), the dealer blames Ford, and SunRun says they shipped the charger to someone else. I am stuck in the middle making no progress.
WARNING: If you buy off the lot make sure everything is correct in the system before you pay -- not really sure how to do this but worth putting it out there.

Sounds like the dealer made some assumptions and submitted the intended owner's info as if the truck was sold, before it was. Bought my Lariat in the same type of scenario with no issues what-so-ever.

Google 'lightning Sunrun mannequin.' It's a systematic problem. I went though something similar. It likely won't be solved quickly or easily.

I had the same problem. Ford had another buyer listed and Sunrun didn't know what to do without the info from Ford. HOWEVER, somehow the dealer ended up with my CSP who then called me to come pick it up. So problem solved (I guess) .....

Update: Daily calls to Sunrun, the dealer, and Ford = zero progress.... I am no closer to my charger then I was the day I bought the truck.
