I don't think Ford said exactly when for the Lightning but just that it is coming. Not even MY2022 Mach-Es get it yet, it's just MY2023 models.

The last item from Ford says it will start this fall on new 2023 Mach Es. Nothing stated about the Lightning but it may be on the 2023 Lightnings as well.

Is this a software upgrade that would pass to all existing models (our friends in the Mustang arena), too? I didn't see in the linked article that would eventually be rolled out to other existing Blue Cruise vehicles.

Nope. They were quiet about this.

I really hope it will come to existing vehicles in a PowerUp but we really don't know if it will.
