Has anyone else noticed what appears to be a blob of sealant under the paint? See attached picture. What do you think I should do about it? Should I ask Ford to repair it? It’s on the bed corner against the cab on the drivers side.

Curious what you end up doing here. I can see two POV 1)Seems harmless and kind of out of the way 2)Paying a LOT of money and if it botheres you, you should have them make it right. Would hate to open my door and look at it every time if it bothered me.

I had a similar problem with a factory orderer Ford. Let the dealer know and they will get it fixed. Don’t think that you’ll just live with it as you’ll hit it every time you wash the truck.

It would bother me and should never have gotten past pre or final QC checks. Your Ford Body shop will take pics and get authorization from Ford for the paint repair.

mines got a blob under the paint on the box side aswell, near the rear bumper, I figured leave it. they'll never match the paint nice. lol.
