I have seen elsewhere that the Ford + Siemens + Sunrun implementation of DC bidirectional charging on the Lightning is proprietary, and NOT compliant with ISO 15118 PLC signalling. Can anyone confirm or deny this, preferably with a good reference or source link? If it is not, are there any plans for Ford to software update the Lightning to be compatible with the industry standard now that it's published?

Great idea. I've watched a lot of his stuff on his own channel and InsideEVs. I knew he was going through the whole Ford branded electrical upgrade in his own garage and was just going to wait until that video was out first to see if he touched on it. But it may not have occurred to him to discuss at all.
