The video attached to the linked Motortrend article (maybe they posted the wrong video with the article?) was a bit of an unfortunate bait and switch considering what I was hoping to see, but the article text itself was on topic. This is the first I've read or heard of such a "cord with a CCS Combo 1 charging plug on both ends"? I wonder where they sourced their info. Learn something new every day!
