Between a rock and a hard place!

I got my invitation email to place my reservation. I placed my reservation and it went to the dealer (Damerow Ford in Beaverton, OR). I asked the dealer the next day for the purchase agreement. When they sent it, it had what looks like a bogus dealer rep name, customer name was crossed, and they wrote down with a pen a 5k markup on the printed agreement. Apparently once the order goes to the dealer, you can't change your dealer anymore. So I'm left with either excepting their markup, or losing my reservation and place in line. Does anyone know if there's a hidden option number #3? because this is ridiculous!!!

Good news is Ford can still move your order.

You have two choices:
1. Find another dealer and get Ford to move you
2. Contact the dealer, well-informed, and make it clear you are calling their bluff. For this, you want to be ready with the name of a dealer who charges MSRP, the memo dealers were sent not to do pull this crap, Jim Farley’s statement this week that such behavior will impact their future allocations, and their option is either to treat you right or you will report all of this to Ford when you Resort to option #1. All of the information you need for this on on the site.

Almost forgot: Also let them know they just were moved from the Nice List to the Naughty List. The largest Lightning Owner’s Forum now has them listed as charging a $7K ADM.

The ordering was done on ford's website and not the dealer, so i couldn't see the dealers price on it. The better way to go about it is call the dealer before placing the order
Dealer's price is on the website. If they have any authorized ADM it will show up there.

Coral - are you saying the ADM would show up on the order on Ford's web site? I have a line item that says "Difference from total MSRP" with $0. Would the ADM be listed there?
Yes, it should show up there in the "Difference from total MSRP". That is where any legitimate additions should be found. These represent ADM that the dealer included in their form they submitted to Ford along with the prioritization back in December. That information would then appear in the build & price tool.

However, there are really despicable dealers who are then trying to write an additional markup on a printed buyers order.

Well said GDN, that's exactly what they did with me. They printed it and hand wrote the ADM. I also do worry about the sincerity of where they place you in their queue. If they say you're #5, what guarantees you that spot. Maybe your "Order Accepted by Dealer" status on Ford's website means your spot is locked in, i don't really know. Otherwise they can simply push the people who they managed to get most ADM from to production when the real allocation comes up.
The invitation to convert was to you as the customer. If the dealer cancels your order, they lose that truck. You also then have the opportunity to set the order back up with another dealer.
