Is there any way to plan a long road trip so that I can conservatively estimate recharge sites? Going from eastern Connecticut to Greenville, South Carolina, to Florida (Tampa Bay, Orlando, and Vera Beach)

Thanks!

For a non-Tesla vehicle, A Better Route Planner seems to be about the best you can do. However! Do not trust the sites ABRP plots. Always double check those sites with information from Plugshare.

I agree with @R.I.P. - ABRP (ABRP) is a great app, and with my Tesla has been incredibly accurate on the level of charge used. If charging is needed, also agree to validate the chargers are there (and working) with Plugshare.
For accurate Level Of Charge being used (and not use GOM) if you are an iPhone user, Apples Maps (linked with Fordpass) is the the best. Then plan the route on Plugshare and then use Plugshare, Electrify America, Apple Maps and Ford Nav.

Always check between a couple to make sure. Also make sure Plugshare has L3 chargers chosen and not any L2. Overnight I tend to charge before going to a hotel rather than early morning as it is already warm and faster.

Did with my Atlanta and Toronto trips.
