Took delivery of my Lightning 3 days ago. Everything seems to be working properly except the battery gauge on the left side of the dash display always shows 0%.

is this a known problem that will get fixed by a software update or is there a setting somewhere I need to adjust ?

Unless you are in "Calm" screen mode for the driver's display or charging the truck, the dash display doesn't normally show the battery percentage.

actually, the truck ALWAYS shows the battery percentage, although the 'normal' drive screen shows it as a 'circular graph' instead of numbers/percentage. I believe what you actually MAY be seeing is simply the number '0' at the bottom of that graph, which is referring to a potential 0 battery power, with a 100 at the top - your battery percentage is the 'graph' somewhere in between,

I suggest you post a picture of what you are seeing.

After charging to a "one-time" limit at home I have gotten in the truck and the splash screen shows 0% before I start the vehicle (instead of 100%). After starting it goes to a normal amount. Maybe the programmer needs to make it a 3 digit number instead of 2 with zero suppression?

Does it show the correct percentage otherwise? Like if you start it at 95% charge does it show 95 or 0 briefly? Is it a double 0 or a single 0?

Single zero after the charging has completed - but before the vehicle is turned on. The percentage on the splash screen always shows the correct percentage otherwise. I rarely go to 100% unless leaving in on an extended trip and need all the range I can get.
