Lightning owned for a month. Constant Audio issues. Called several dealers, can't get in for service for several weeks. I am concerned I've made a big mistake with this purchase.
Hi there! I can look into your Lightning's audio concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Lightning's VIN?

Audio issues? Can you elaborate?
The audio shuts off, happens when listening to XM, apple car play, phone calls, bluetooth w/ out car play, etc. Last night, I drove it to the dealer as it has an annoying "white noise" that comes across the speakers when it happens. I asked if they could take a look and they said their service department was too busy. Seems odd, makes me wonder if Ford dealers aren't trained or don't want to get involved w/ the lightning trucks. I have an appointment with them in 6 weeks...

What exactly is happening? For a short period I had a situation where audio would stop playing. Maybe it was tied to an incoming text message, maybe something else, I don't know. To get it going again I had to press the power button. That solved the issue. This happened for a few days and stopped. It was a glitch of some sort, I had similar issues with my 2010 F150. These things are computers and do computer things.🤷‍♂️
