I have the b&o 8 spike setup in my lariat ER, disappointed in the voulme, lack of high punch and horrible subwoofer roll off. Did anyone try to change forscan setting changes to the ACM to see if one of the 12 EQ settings make this system louder and less clipping at higher volume? I’m curious what the 12 differen EQ options in the ACM are. As soon as I can get forscan that will recognize my build I will be trying.

I agree the B&O setup is weak. I had the windows down and volume maxed at 30 and it was not nearly loud enough for me. Is it the power in the amp or is it limited due to the speakers?

I have new high efficiency infinity kappa speakers coming this week to test if new speakers will make a difference in volume output.

Anyone tried connect an external amp & new speakers? I'm thinking the source (B&O) might be ok, and it possibly just sucks on amplification & maybe speakers?
It’s the factory b&o dsp processing. It’s rolls off the low end very quick and heavily. You need to use the Zen A2B to clean up that signal and send it to aftermarket dsp and amplification for better tuning. It’s the only real way to make a change with out replacing everything. You could then power the stock speakers with additional watts or make the upgrade as well. I’m afraid just swapping speakers won’t make much of a change. The signal and processing will still be the same. Garbage in, garbage out.

So do you need an amp and the Zen A2B or does the Zen provide that?
