For those not familiar with the rollout of new vehicles, a very important date is the OKTB (OK to Buy) date. This is when the engineers have sufficiently tested the vehicle and feel it is ready for sale. Ordinarily, early production vehicles are held in a storage lot at or near the plant until OKTB is reached. As we've seen, Ford is now building trucks at the REVC (Rouge Electric Vehicle Center) in Dearborn. Most of the really early vehicles are FCTP (Ford Courtesy Transportation Program = demos = mannequins) but some customers on here and elsewhere have reported April build dates. The March builds and April builds so far are most likely being held nearby. Ford doesn't want to ship out vehicles that can't be sold in case re-working is needed at the plant. Once OKTB is given, the trucks will start to ship.

Hopefully OKTB will come later this month and trucks will start moving. I haven't seen anything concrete on when Ford expects to issue OKTB. Trucks that are built after OKTB should be shipped promptly, probably sent along with ICE F-150s from Rouge and other Detroit production.

Do you know how long it took for the OKTB for the Mach E? I know you have one, didn't know if you were tracking it that closely back then.

A side comment is - WTH? lol. This truck has been on the road many months, tons of testing, lots of on road miles, you would think they would get that OKTB just a few weeks ahead of time - like when they start building them. Just doesn't make sense to hold that decision, but I know they do.

My dealer said they are getting one as a demo vehicle (Lariat ER) April 18th and their 2nd dealership the 25th. Not sure if this info helps. I’m located in update NY about 45 min west of the capitol. (Albany).

Mach E OKTB was about 6 weeks after Job 1 (start of mass production). I've heard Bronco was about 2 1/2 months.
