I was in a dealer, who incidentally keeps on bugging me to transfer my reservations to them, for a service.

And guess what I saw, a display of F150 Lightning Lariat, my preferred configuration and model.

Right at the window:

MSRP: $81,544.00
MARKET ADJUSTMENT 30,000.00 (EARLIER ADDED EQUIPMENT & SERVICES)
TOTAL $111,544.00

And to think, my purchase decision criteria:

Price on reservation: $69,000
Ford announced price: $74,000 - yeah maybe, if it meets my best-use needs of pulling trailer or truck camper
At this price: $111,544 - no way!

No reason to reward stealerships who tack on ridiculous ADMs.

And....if you lived where I do, you would have $8,923 in sales tax to tack on. So it's a $120,467 pickup truck? That's just a bit 'outa my league'....but as you know, there is a fool born every minute. They'll sell it.
You'll be surprised, someone made an offer of $95K on used Lightning Lariat.

And there's an offer to take my place in the queue line after I mentioned the dealer's price I saw.:p
