Hi all,

I thought I would pass this one for awareness. I noticed a line item on my order from the dealer for the following.

ONBOARD SCALE/SMART HITCH RMVL $-650

I emailed the dealer to ask what this was about and here's there response.

Ford is removing the Onboard Scale and Smart Hitch feature due to supply constraints unfortunately. Our Ford rep confirmed that there is no word on if or when this feature will be available for the Lightnings.

Not that this is a huge deal breaker as I have neither in my current truck but would be nice to add this back in later down the road if I really want. Just thought I would pass this on for awareness.

Yes, that has been the case for a while.

On Board Scales/Smart Hitch removal

My dealer just emailed me that if ordering now through Q4 the On Board Scales & Smart Hitch are removed, not available?! I'm wondering if you can build and have these retro fitted later on? It's a huge resale feature down the road. Any thoughts?
