The Ford website on 2023 Lightning shows a rate of 4.9% on 60 month financing.

Signed the deal for my 2022 Mannequin and the dealer is telling me the rate for Ford Motor Credit is 8.9%???

Wants me to use a bank at 8.3? I‘m thinking more dealer shenanigans and getting a lender kickback. I have always gotten the lowest rates from FMC. About ready to walk on the deal.

yeah walk in with your own financing. interest rates are high but 8.9 is ridiculous

There's the opportunity that they(Ford Credit) can try to match/beat the rate if you come in from a Credit Union but I wouldn't put much faith into that.

I applied to Parsons last month just in case rates went crazy again and locked in at 3.9 but then saw Tower FCU was 2.9 and am awaiting the approval from them.

Monday I got 5.09% for 60 months through Bank of America through the dealer with $20k down on a 2022 Lightning Lariat Standard Range.
