I am having major issues with my truck. Ill have a video at some point about it but basically,
1. The massaging seats havent worked since day one.
2. Frunk stopped working and truck thinks its open when its closed.
3. Tail gate sometimes doesnt power up or down
4. It wont install the latest OTA update

I went to the dealer and when they connected to it it has a HUGE LIST of error codes. They saw the OBD2 dongle in my truck and he hinted at blaming that (me). He said if it turns out that it was the OBD2 then I would have to pay for the work and it would be "a lot"....

I asked him to just clear the codes and he said "we arent allowed. We have to research each and every code with Ford engineers. We cannot just reset it...."

I hate dealers. I am more of a DIY guy. Can I reset these codes myself using a code scanner or something? Has anyone tried yet?

Curious, why do you have the OBD2 in there in the first place? Regarding frunk, there was another poster with this issue but I can’t recall the fix. Maybe when the truck says it’s open, pull the manual release (where you would find hood release on ICE) and then get it open, once actually open, close with one of the 3 buttons

because using the Torque app on android you can get battery and vehicle data. I’ve done it with all of my EVs. I haven’t done it with this truck yet though. I connected the adapter only because I moved and my truck was totally packed with stuff. I didn’t want to lose the obd2 adapter so I plugged it in. Nothing I haven’t done with every other vehicle I’ve ever had.

Yikes…! I’d remove the obd2 and go to a different dealer. You are driving a new vehicle, under warranty - like it or not, you will have to deal with the dealer
Maybe. The dealer I went to seemed very good. It was my first time there. It’s also the closest to me. So I hope to work with them. We’ll see.
