When you place an order what is the additional deposit required and is it refundable? My dealer is saying no but thought I had read somewhere that it was

When I placed my order the Ford website required a $1,000 deposit to place the order. However, it came off the price of the truck during the purchase. Actually, that thousand and the hundred-dollar reservation I put down. There was a bit of confusion on that with the dealer at first, but when you order there is a summary of charges and what you have built on the Ford site and I showed that to the dealer and they removed it from the price of the truck.
