Hi all, thanks so much for the informative posts and conversation. Any harm to the battery if truck is parked starting at ~85% charge and then left for 3 or 4 months outdoors in winter without being plugged in? Considering a '22 ER that's been sitting outside unplugged since fall in a cold climate. thanks in advance!

Long term it is best to be at 50% soc per manual.

Right but being at 85% isn't likely to cause any long-term damage to the battery. Also, you do have an 8yr/100k warranty on the battery, so buy it and use the crap out of the truck.

For a six month idle can I use a battery minder on the 12volt? (haven't seen the truck or manual yet)
