When I put in my reservation on 5/22, I was super-excited to order an XLT with the extended battery. Since the price increased the first time, I became resigned to simply order a PRO without an extended battery since my original config would put it over the new tax credit maximum. Now, we have another serious price increase on the PRO, and I still haven’t been asked to order yet. This is starting to seriously concern me. Will there be more increases before I can order? This has been quite a long wait now. Thoughts?

yes, no, and maybe... only Ford knows. I'll bet that even the other manufacturers, who have announced new EV trucks, will likely be at even higher prices than the new PRO pricing, when they 'eventually' actually start building them.

Any current reservation holders, not just those with confirmed order, should be getting price protect. I’m 2nd in line at my dealer now and was told I get a model 23 at the 22 price.
I plan on buying the Lariat ER

Wow, I haven’t heard that at all. I’ll have to check with my dealer. That would be extremely welcome news if true.

That is not Ford's stance on the issue, but I guess we will see.

As a 2023 order holder, I can assure you this is not happening. I even called to ask Ford if I had a price protect offer.

'price protect' was only a short-lived anamily for a very FEW select individuals who were offered an original 2022 Model Pro or XLT to order, but those models were ALREADY sold out, and they were allowed to DEFER their order to one of the very few initial 2023 models, which are ALSO now sold out.

NO ONE IN Wave 3 for 2023 has any type of pricing difference from the 2023 pricing, as announced.

While I type my response sounding so 'matter of fact' and 'dreary' for those not yet owners... I also am saddened that so many more folks can't get what I have been so blessed to be 'picked' to receive. I don't for one second blame ANYONE for being upset, angry, confused, or otherwise bitter at anyone who DOES have one, or at the manufacturer who led us down this road... it is NOT easy, and I don't blame you.

I will say, though, there will be changes and price adjustments in the future - it's a given, but let's hope you all get your orders in before then. While no one 'wants' to pay 'more' than others, the current pricing is probably in-line with the actual 'value'... although that probably still does not make anyone 'feel' better. I get it.

I thought no more Pros were available. Why bother to increase the price on something that can't be ordered?

I had heard the Fleet Pros were sold out as well. Glad to hear they aren't.

just placed my 23my order. Dealership confirmed they would honor the model year 22yr price....they again mentioned Ford should be sending more rebates out, but in the event Ford does not by when my truck arrives, they would handle it on their side and honor it.
