Hi All,

Another new Lightning owner here. I just picked up my new Lariat ER. I opted for the spray in 511A package and spray in bedliner. The kicker is that I reserved my Lightning when I lived in Iowa, but have since moved to PA. Thus, I opted to keep my order and I flew out to get my truck and drove it home. ~1000 miles between Des Moines, Iowa and Chester County, PA so I had lots seat time with it. Overall, the truck performed well. I averaged ~1.8 miles/kwh on a trip with about 50/50 flatland and mountainous terrain. The navigation did a good job of planning my stops and finding good charging stations. The downside was that it routed me via the OH and PA turnpike, which are tolled roads. Thus, I was tolled (EZPass) whenever I would get off/on to get to a charging station. Some were at rest stops, but not all. If I had planned this trip, I would have probably taken a longer/non tollroad route. The BlueCruise made this drive much less stressful and it did 75% of the driving for the trip, but I agree with posters about the handoff to/from the system (abrupt). People inquired about the truck at just about every stop I made, along with several Tesla owners. Overall, I'm thrilled with the truck and a proud Lightning owner.

One question: My dealer installed the front plate bracket, which is not needed in PA. Can I remove this, and are there easy ways to cover the drill holes?
