I'm sure the Lighting will have better ride quality over the ICE version due to the independent rear suspension, so that's a plus. The Rivian and Hummer have both gotten rave reviews about how good their rides are. Naturally, the other advantage to air suspension in a truck is being able to raise it for off-roading and for EV purposes, being able to lower it at highway speeds for better aero. I do think its a feature that the others simply have it beat on. But, hopefully, it does ride better than a truck!
The Ford has more leg room, a much better frunk, much better interior storage space. For a large number of owners that need a work truck, it blows away the competition in that department. For me personally though, probably its biggest selling point is the 9.6 power output and the ability to power your home for three days. For anyone considering a battery backup at their home, you simply can't beat using the truck. Equal kWh output would cost a fortune in home backup batteries. With the Ford, you get the same power for far less $$ and you get a truck to go with it! Great for camping. No more need for a generator in an RV trailer.
I love a lot of the features each one of the three truck options offer. Problem, all three, while EV trucks, are still so very different and great for different reasons. If they ever do a Raptor version of the Lighting, add in air suspension and an air compressor with around 400 miles in range with all the capabilities the current Lighting has, it would be really tough to even consider any of the other options available! For now, those primarily seeking off-road adventures, will likely choose one of the other two options.
