I separated this out from the photos in

Any guess what this is? It's located just in front of the driver door on the inside where our frunk release is on the Mach E. I think it can only be accessed when the driver's door is closed (not certain, though).

I think I know what it is but the product specialists were clueless. No, I didn't pull it.

On the MachE is the frunk automatic like the Lightning? Do you have a manual backup if it is automatic or strictly manual?
Early Mach Es have a strictly manual frunk release. In later builds the electronic release is active but there is no auto lift like the Lightning. Early Mach Es are supposed to get a software update that makes the electronic release functional.
