Any guess what this is? It's located just in front of the driver door on the inside where our frunk release is on the Mach E. I think it can only be accessed when the driver's door is closed (not certain, though).

I think I know what it is but the product specialists were clueless. No, I didn't pull it.

Emergency Charging Port Release?

That was my guess.

Manual frunk release.

I just received an email from Herschel from the Ford exhibit: "The red tag is the emergency release for the front trunk."

On the MachE is the frunk automatic like the Lightning? Do you have a manual backup if it is automatic or strictly manual?

Early Mach Es have a strictly manual frunk release. In later builds the electronic release is active but there is no auto lift like the Lightning. Early Mach Es are supposed to get a software update that makes the electronic release functional.
