Picked up my Lightning from the dealer on Friday. I love it! A big thank you to the great team at Bellingham Ford in northern Washington. From my initial reservation (day 1) to the final purchase, Matt and Jeff stood by me every step of the process and made the buying experience simple and straightforward.

Color looks great in the sun!

How do you like the 'base' XLT package features so far?

I only added the spray-in liner and tailgate step to the base XLT package and it works fine for me. I wanted more payload capacity for a possible pop-up camper or canopy and by keeping the packages down, my payload is 2044 pounds which is very good.
I have all the extra goodies I can imagine on my wife’s 2021 F-150 3.5EB Lariat w/6.5 bed. Of course, all the packages reduces payload capacity. In her case, the payload is about 1650.
