I had no problems connecting the charger the ER truck is shipped with to the Truck or the FordMyPass App

But I want to use the Ford Charge Station App, ‎Ford Charge Station Setup

Can't connect to it on my WiFi.

The label on the charger says the Charge Station ID is SWA*****

But on my WiFi network it says SW4*****

Its not finding it or there is a difference for some reason.

Ideas, solutions?

Mine gets installed today. so this may be bad info since I have no experience… isn’t that app you linked for the ford connected charge station? Don’t you need the ford charge station pro app?

I had the same issue and it was very frustrating. At some point, I realized that I had downloaded the wrong app. The correct one is named Ford Station Pro Setup. See pic below.

After downloading the correct app, everything else went through smoothly.

Thanks. So it’s the Ford Charge Station Pro App I want? The one with the green light in the picture icon? I downloaded that one but it didn’t give me any real time energy usage and I really question the accuracy of the energy did report used which is out of date by a month (see pics below). I did look at the other threads and no one seems to have a solution for this and very few people can get it connected to their phone app. Very glitchy apps. Why there are three apps to do one thing is also a mystery. Not sure if there are other ways of measuring the kilowatt hours being consumed behind buying a third-party charger with diagnostics that actually work.

Count me as one of the lucky, I guess. My FCSP was installed today. Before the Sunrun van was out of sight the app connected to my fordpass app. If I knew why It worked, I’d chime in.

No idea if these things matter, I was standing between the station and my truck, the truck was plugged in and charging, the fordpass was open in the background, and I opened the FCSP app and linked it to fordpass. Maybe none of that matters, and I was just plain lucky.

Thanks mine link to the FordPass app as well. But I was hoping to get real time information on how many kilowatt hours are being used each day it charges etc. May be expecting too much.

Mine shows today’s charging. It’s under- account- charge station- insights

it charged for about an hour, then I stopped it. I have time of use billing, and afternoon peak hours were looming. It should resume charging at 8pm.

buy a changepoint Flex charger it is awesome tells you how much power you are using and tracks total dollars a month, great for the accountant and home charging.
