Picked up mine a couple of weeks ago and the heated steering wheel was the only thing removed. He lists the trucks this applies to in the beginning. He's really good with these videos.

The rear bed camera was mentioned a few weeks ago as affecting the 2023 Lightnings going forward. He also answers a couple of questions regarding retrofitting the removed items - namely the heated steering wheel and the bed camera not being added back when the part becomes available.

That sux. I guess I got mine just in time, though I haven't even used it yet aside from showing it to people. I was hoping some of the stuff could be retrofitted, but I figured the steering would be something they wouldn't have put back in. To be fair, they take it off the price, so you would have to pay to get it put back in if they were able to. I don't necessarily need a heated steering wheel, but I would've liked the bed scales.

For $650, they can keep it IMHO. It adds nothing to my ownership experience that is beneficial and tangible.

I would like my heated steering wheel back though.

I heard that the Lightning Heated Steering Wheel could be retrofit because it's a software issue not hardware issue like the ICE F-150.
