Had chance to order on 2/18 and extended my reservation b/c the XLT was sold out. Randomly decided to log in to see if by some chance it wasn't still sold out. Thinking perhaps many reservations didn't order by 3/31. To my surprise the XLT (and Lariat) was no longer sold out. I called the 1-800 number b/c I wanted to change dealers before submitting my order and she was surprised it didn't say sold out. She transferred dealers for me but when I went to submit my order online I couldn't submit my $500 deposit. I called the new dealer and they said they were only allocated 5 for 2022 and that I needed to wait until Aug.

So confused!!!!! Why they hell did it not list the XLT and Lariat as sold out. Should I have just stayed with my current dealer? Would it have let me place the order today 4/6?

No. You can't order any model today. Nobody's invitations to order are active since we passed the March 31st deadline. I commented on your psot in another thread, but you were just looking at the build and price tool.

With all due respect I was not on the build and price tool. The top trim model was still sold out. It was open like I had an opportunity to order one. It was weird as hell.

My apologies I meant to say that the pro model still viewed as sold out

This doesn't tell us anything. I was asking for screen shots of what you're describing: a page that says Pro is sold out but all other models are available, and the ability to order them today.

unfortunately I don’t have them. I can tell you I was able to see the Ford Options pricing etc. I know what I saw. Not a newbie on this forum and probably logged into Ford.com a billion times. It was odd!

You're NOT allowed to order past 3/31, regardless of the quirkiness of the web-ordering appearances, the intent of FORD was you do an order for trims available on or by 3/31, extend for MY23 by 3/31 or cancel and get your reservation deposit credited to your CC.
