Seems like this is pretty Comon. I don’t want to do master reset or battery post because this will mess with settings if I’m correct. any other tips or tricks to have it connect again ?

This has happened to me numerous times. You can do a few things to help avoid losing any settings.

#1 press and hold the volume down & skip right arrow buttons on the wheel until the screen goes dark (this reboots the screen
#2 pulling the negative batter terminal for 60 seconds. This will not cause any loss in settings, Just reboots the whole truck

sometimes i do step 1 when driving and the connections come back. Totally safe to do with no fear of losing stuff

I just picked up my Lightning yesterday and it wouldn’t conmect to ford pass app. I couldn’t connect my car to the app. The sales guy said it was the second time he had seen it and that the service guys knew about it and they were going to push a software update next month.
ill try the reset buttons and see if that kicks it over and let’s me connect.

Whatever you do, don't do a master reset on your Lightning. It needs some sort of backend connection to your app, although FordPass isn't functioning correctly.
I did a master reset 2 weeks ago, still can't get FP to work and as a result, was just notified that I lost access to Blue Oval Network for whatever reason. Nobody at Ford can figure out so I'm waiting for the app fix in "Feb 2023."

Had the same thing happen on the weekend.

The truck loses connection and since the modem or gateway is always on it doesn't reset itself. The brute force negative terminal reboot works but I found that pulling fuse #32 in the interior fuse panel, wait 30seconds, reinstall fuse does the same thing without all the hassle of tools.

Hopefully the fix is out soon.
