Ordered my bare bones 2023 Lightning Pro in August '22 for $47k. At the time got a notice that Ford Private Offer would drop that back to the $40k MY '22 price at purchase. Sweet!
Now the MY '23 Pro trim base price is $56k for new orders (after recent +$5k and +$4k MSRP hikes), and stories about Ford dealerships only offering the $7k Private Offer to recent Pro deliveries from 2022 reservation holders makes me think that most of us actually wanting our Pros delivered in 2023 will have to eat most or all of the $9k price increase since we placed our orders with dealerships back ~4 months ago.
With the rising production costs and high inflation certainly Ford can't sustain this price protection to everyone who already ordered... anyone disagree?

Here are a couple of threads of people facing the same issue. Seems like how much the dealer is willing to work with Ford to get the other price adjustments. These fellows only had to deal with one price hike, though

Side note…it’s odd how some already got their Pros delivered and I’m assuming you haven’t even got your build date yet. Hope you get it delivered before March 31 to get the full tax rebate.

Pro - Order vs. Delivery MSRP, extra $5,000

The following is taken from the Oct price increase notification sent to dealers, by FoMoCo.

"Current converted retail orders awaiting scheduling are unaffected by this adjustment. 2023 F-150 Lightning Pro Series is now sold out for retail customers. 2023 F-150 Lightning Pro availability will continue for customers that meet the eligibility qualification for the commercial order bank.
The adjusted MSRP of $51,974 will go into effect for new commercial customer orders placed starting October 24. Current commercial and government customers with a scheduled order are unaffected by this adjustment."

So this doesn't affect any of us that placed our orders during Wave 1, on or shortly after Aug 11th. Any dealer who can't read and comprehend that directive, is a moron.

And as for the December price increase......same story.....does not affect orders placed prior to Dec 14th.

Please be aware of the new 2023 F-150 Lightning Price Level 330, effective December 14th and communicate this within your dealership.
SUMMARY
Ford is adjusting the MSRP on the 2023 F-150 Lightning Pro 110A & XLT 311A Series due to ongoing supply chain constraints, rising material costs and other market factors. We will continue to monitor pricing across the model year.
Adjusted MSRP’s will go into effect for new commercial customer and retail orders placed starting December 14th . Current commercial and government customers with a scheduled order are unaffected by this adjustment.
