Ford has just sent out an email alerting reservation holders that 2023 model year ordering will being shortly. One source has confirmed it could be as early as tomorrow.

Actual production isn't expected to start until October 10th with deliveries around 6 weeks after.

They opened and gave us a big slap in the face with the price increases.

How is it a slap in the face? The rumors or whatever have already been swirling that prices are increasing. Rivian increased their prices. Ford reported that the Mach E wasn't profitable at the current cost. The global scale and issue with materials for EV batteries. That's why many of the manufacturers are scrambling to source that themselves to keep that cost down. Otherwise "Other Countries" can price everyone out of the game. Both Rivian and Ford and I think Tesla earlier were dealing with workforce reduction. Tesla has stated that the original prices for the Cybertruck were not going to hold. That's one of the reasons Chevy is going for the most expensive version first. You should appreciate Ford actually made Pro models at the same time with every other trim.

Are they great (the prices)? No. Looking at my trim throws the cost right up there with the original numbers for the Platinum.

I try not to sound like some Ford fanboy, because I honestly hate that, but I'm always going to be bothered by criticism that is either biased or not specific to Ford. I don't like how the Chevy Silverado EV looks. Honestly I think the Cybertruck looks better. That is on Chevy. Them starting out with the expensive and "First Edition" models? They aren't the only ones to do that so that's not entirely on them.

Is anyone aware if you can change the trim reserved? I don’t recall selecting an XLT but I signed into my account and it says I reserved a 2023 XLT. But I want a Pro.

Welcome to the forum. Your order is likely still the same and hasn't been changed. It's what many folks have experienced and what @GDN reported here:
"Many reports of this, but know it isn't true - the picture is of a Platinum. Just another part of Ford stumbling on themselves and thank your lucky stars that the people screwing up emails for the last year aren't the same people writing the software for the truck. Although there are plenty of stories to let you know it truly could seem like they are one in the same."

Just like @EFX4 mentioned this looks like a mistake by Ford. Your order should still be the same as you originally entered it. You could reach out to Ford if you want for clarification but if you reserved a pro you'll get a pro.

Ford just sent me notification the ordering bank is open. Also indicated no price increase for someone like me who chose to extend my reservation.
We’re you able to confirm your order? I still only have the email from 2 days and been refreshing my email and reservation all day. I emailed my dealer last night too but haven’t heard back and usually they answer within a few hours.

thanks for the update! I just called Ford and they said my dealer changed my extended reservation from Pro to XLT after the orders closed in April and Ford doesn’t seem to expect to have the Pro available when my order opens during wave 2 when the XLT extended reservation orders open on August 24th… :-( at least I confirmed it’s extended reservation model specific and those waiting on the XLT will be able to order on the 24th, I’ll just have to extend my reservation for the Pro again.

Anyone received an XLT order conversion email? It was supposed to happen today.
Yeah I just did, Pro is unavailable. It says to contact Dealer and I did and they said that the Pro isn’t available. I called Ford and explained how I extended for the Pro and it got amended to the XLT without my knowledge. Ford said it’s unavailable but I should be able to Extend the reservation again for Pro. I’m about to just buy the XLT and resell it at this rate.
