2023 Platinum. 1600 miles. Had to tow to dealership. Won’t move. Not sure they have answers. Battery failure?

In California nice weather not too cold if I charge to 90% it shows me 230 miles. Out of those 230 miles I only get around 140 actual driving miles the rest of the energy goes to power other features like the radio, lights and outside temperature whatever that means. This is real I own it and I drive it everyday. :-(
140 to 160 actual usable miles is normal for the SR pack.

Another poster asked, what you are observing in mi./kWh? And, are you saying that you are actually driving 140 miles per day and it's depleting the battery?
I'm curious if anyone has noticed any significant loss of charge while parked. I received by Truck (2023 Lariat ER) on Saturday and am using my mobile charger in a 120v outlet until i get the mobile charger. I set the max charge to 90% and unplugged it this morning at 9am. At 2pm I drove 5 miles (local roads, flat, ~50-60mph). When I returned home I was down to 85% charge. Is this a posisble issue with cells, an issue with the mobile charger being inaccurate, or something else?

Is your Pro Charger button switched on? If so that will do it.

The Pro Power Onboard? I checked in Controls and it appears to be off. Would the physical button be different?
My Lightning Lariet with extended range arrived last September and at 1st the best milage I ever got was about 280 miles indicated after a nightly charge at home. No matter what I did I could never break into the 300's as advertised.

I have take several long trips with this vehicle and had racked up about 7,000 miles when on December 22nd the truck computer very politely asked me to pull over because the truck was about to die.

Ford highway assistance was very helpful and arranged to have the truck picked up and taken to a certified Ford dealer.

Well after 42 days with our local Ford dealer they returned the truck. It turned out that I had two defective battery modules which they replaced.

Long story short is that I now have 319 miles indicated after a charge and I think I am experiencing approximate that range depending on factor such as outside temperature and how cold my wife's butt is (She LOVES the electric seats).

In reviewing recent posts, I think most of the unsatisfied extended range buyers may have a defective battery module or two. Have faith, I really think Ford will make this right.

Ford did give me an extended warranty to 5 years 150k miles

Ford is now buying my Lightning back.
Did they not figure out what was wrong or did you push them to buy it back?
Battery issue was fixed after a month. Soon thereafter it started having connection issues. They couldn’t fix. The local dealership started buyback process. Ford jumped all over it. Very easy to deal with. Gave me several options

Your truck probably is about to become a cadaver for Ford engineers to dissect
That’s exactly what dealership folks told me. Dealership and Ford have bent over backwards too. No problem with service.
