Greetings Ford Fans,
I have a 2022 lightening platinum that has Extended battery but only reports 245 miles at full charge? isnt this supposed to be at least 300 miles? I bought this of course "used" with a couple of thousand miles and did the reset when obtained ownership to avoid previous owners driving habits but 245 still?? Am i missing something that I must do?

You are seeing a real-world range estimate. That is normal.

if you have an ER battery pack, and you see your KWH indicator showing 2.5, then you have a battery pack with a general range of 337+ miles. The KWH indicator is the most important data to keep an eye on. Depending on your driving, speed, temperature, weather, stop-n-go traffic, etc., you'll see that number change quite a bit when you first start, for the first 50-100 miles even, until it eventually even out and stays more steady at a final number.

Your ER battery pack is roughly 135kw in size. so, 2.5 miles per kwh means 337+ miles.
If it's VERY COLD when you first start, your guessometer may say something totally different.

Might you be located in a place where temperatures have dropped?

The Guess-o-Meter is not a maximum range indicator:

Great information and will check my kwh details and see. Only driven truck for about 40 miles and and located in the southeast so temps still warm.
