Pickup Truck Plus SUV Talk has a new walkaround video with the Lightning on YouTube.
Really? What bothers me is how you change it. I want a knob/dial/switch. I don't want to have to look at it while I'm doing it.I wish Ford got a bit more creative with how the instrument cluster changes with the different drive modes.
You'll have a "1 2 3" on the door, you push it and it goes to whatever is set. Bonus is if you are the main driver and have the keyfob, it'll auto go to your sit setting based on the profile you create. I have this irritation in reverse cause the Mach E is my wife's car and she's short. So if I have her key, it auto whirs forward and I have to be on the ball to hit that "2".Hi question for everyone. I have a build date of early June for an XLT with 8 way power seats. Ive spent months reading and re-reading. One question I cant find the answer to (even after looking at every video).
The XLT 311A(standard) package says 8 way power seats, and in details of the Seating it says "Memory Driver's seat" . This was a key requirement of mine, but I wasnt wiling to upgrade to Platinum to ensure I had everything. I read it to mean the XLT base version has Seat Memory.
When my wife walks in and pushes it all the way to the front, will I be able to push a button to get my settings back or will I be forever annoyed that I cant get back to my comfortable position??
As long as you have the seat preset you should be able to automatically adjust your seating position after your wife is done driving.Hi question for everyone. The Mach-E offers easy entry/exit; is that what you're thinking of?I kind of wished there was a default enter exit position and when you closed the door it goes to the setting (@Ford Motor Company make it so!) The Ford Taurus did this a few years back.
Is it a setting I haven't found? Cause I'd love thatThe Mach-E offers easy entry/exit; is that what you're thinking of?
according to the manual (I'm too lazy to go look in my car to validate right now):Is it a setting I haven't found? Cause I'd love that
alright, I'll check that out. The mach e is my wife's so I'm not in it that often to really play with everything and since it isn't I try not to really dive into everything.according to the manual (I'm too lazy to go look in my car to validate right now):
SWITCHING EASY ENTRY AND EXIT ON AND OFF
1. Press Settings on the touchscreen.
2. Press Vehicle.
3. Select Easy Entry/Exit.
