Official residual values for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning are now available.
"At the entry-level, the 2022 F-150 Lightning Pro has a 36-month residual value with Ford Options Plan of 55% based on a 10,500-mile-per-year contract. Unlike a lease, Ford Options Plan is a balloon financing offer promising more flexibility and the ability to apply for a $7,500 EV tax credit to get the best deal possible.
To put that into perspective, the cheapest 2022 Mustang Mach-E has a residual value of just 45%, although it can be as high as 47% with the all-wheel-drive California Route 1. Higher-end F-150 Lightning residual values with Ford Options Plan are 53% for the XLT, 50% for the Lariat, and 48% for the Platinum trim."
