Greetings everyone,
My father special ordered a 1999 Lightning from Leif Johnson Ford, Austin, Texas, prior to its release.
It was the first Lightning delivered to Texas. I gave him a copy of Car and Driver Magazine which
had the Lightning on its cover. He decided he had to have it. My dad passed away in 2002 at the age of 86, but still had the opportunity
to confirm the Lightning's 140 mph top speed during a trip to Illinois. Great memories!
