Has anyone tried swapping to these. These have built in BMS in the battery, 3x more storage in the same form factor.

Maybe the charging system will work and with 3000 cycles, this will last as long as the HVB...

Guess this guy replied my answer, in a EV there is not need for CCA (large surge of current), but just a trickle to keep those 12V running. He also speaks of Engine Heat, which the Lightning does not have.

Charging an LFP battery below 0C carries high risk of damage and degradation.

If you live in a place where it can get to freezing, this will need to factor heavily in your decision on whether to buy, what to buy, and how to ensure the battery is warm enough to accept a charge safely.
